6 Fun Valentine’s Day Events For Families

It’s a winter wonderland out there, and love is in the air. We found six fun events around Milwaukee to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your family:


1. Downtown Ice Sculptures (Free!)

Friday, February 14 | 12:00pm – 6:00pm

For the first-time ever, you can celebrate love on Wisconsin Avenue, where plazas will be activated with two tons of ice. Visit ice sculptures at 310W (3rd & Wisconsin) and Chase Tower at Water & Wisconsin and get your cute family pictures. Ice sculptures will remain installed as long as weather allows. ????Plus, from noon to 1:00, enjoy free hot cocoa and heart-shaped donuts from Dunkin Donuts, fire pits, street games, and more at 3rd and Wisconsin. 2. Valentine’s Day Glow at Skyzone

Friday, February 14th from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m.

For a special late night, bring your older kids to a glow jump at Skyzone Greenfield, where it’s buy one get one icee.


3. Family Sweetheart Dance YMCA

Southwest YMCA (Greenfield)

Friday, February 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Put on your dancing shoes and create memories your little ladies and gentlemen won’t forget. Bring the whole family and get ready to groove with a live DJ. Light refreshments will be provided.


4. Daddy Daughter Dance

Saturday, February 15th at 5:15 at North Division High School

Spots are filling up fast! Hosted by Milwaukee Recreation, tThe 17th annual Daddy/Daughter Dance is a chance for fathers and daughters to dress up and enjoy a great evening together. Don’t miss out – slots will fill up quickly in one of the biggest events of the year.


5. Family Fun: Valentine’s Day Sweets

Sur La Table in Glendale, WI | February 15 & 16

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a sweet family baking project. Gather your favorite little sous chefs to mix batter, bake chocolate cupcakes and whip up yummy buttercream frosting. Plus, you’ll get plenty of practice cutting out heart-shaped shortbread and getting creative with decorations.


6. Love Bug Bash
